David Baily grew up around the insurance business. Following his father and grandfather as principal at Baily Insurance, David has been serving commercial clients for over twenty years. As a Certified Insurance Counselor, David has expertise to help his clients with all their insurance needs. He specializes in helping contractors, manufacturers, schools, and non-profits evaluate their insurance and risk programs and control their workers’ compensation costs.

David’s passion when it comes to insurance is helping businesses identify strengths and weaknesses in their current insurance program. Maybe due to his pre-med background, David sees himself as a doctor for businesses. He works with his clients to “diagnose” their insurance issues, put in place a plan to control their insurance costs, and keep his clients “healthy.”

One major priority David focuses on is helping his clients mitigate their claims. A favorite saying of his is, “Let’s settle the claim before it happens.”

Beyond Baily Insurance, David has had the privilege of serving as an elder at First Presbyterian Church of Waynesburg and Eastminster Presbyterian Church in Pittsburgh. He currently serves on the development committee for the CCO, the Alumni Council for Waynesburg University, and the Greene County Industrial Development Authority. David has also served with the United Way, Inspire Greene, and ELDI.

David lives in Waynesburg, PA, with his wife, Jennifer, and their five children. In his free time, you’ll find him digging into a good book, swinging his clubs, or enjoying a family game night. So be careful if you challenge him to a game of Cinch or Clue! 😉
